CAN Kids Fun Day @ St Crispin’s Leisure Centre – 28.09.14

The CAN (Children with Additional Needs) Forum held their Kids Fun Day at the St Crispin’s Leisure Centre, Wokingham, on 28th Sept 2014. INSAAN took up the opportunity of holding a stall at the event. We met a lot of people and made some new friends. At the same time, we forged links with other established charitable organisations such as a SCOPE and the Berkshire Autistic Society.

First-Cousin Marriage Debate @ House of Lords – 13.05.14

INSAAN attended the debate at the House of Lords on Tuesday 13th May 2014 relating to first cousin marriages and birth defects in the newborn. There was a good turn out for the meeting. The audience comprised of leading medical doctors, academics, religious clerics, politicians and members of the general public.

RMC Family Fun Day & AGM – 19.01.14

The INSAAN Team were out again at the RMC Family Fun Day on Sunday 19th January 2014 at the PCC – we gave away lots of goodie bags containing information packs. It was a busy time at our stand, with our members answering many parents’ queries about the function of INSAAN.

INSAAN presents RANG-E-MEHFIL January 2014

INSAAN presented ‘RANG-E-MEHFIL’ at the PCC on Friday 10th January 2014 – being attended by 150 people. Seemingly all had a brilliant time.
