Opportunities Post 16+ at Addington School – 11.11.13

A 5-member team led by our Schools Liaison Officer Shabina Maher set up a stall for INSAAN at the Opportunities Evening arranged by Addington School.
There were 35 other agencies present all providing services and information for the post-16 years transition of pupils from school to further or higher education. We took full advantage of networking with all present in order to raise the profile of INSAAN. As a follow up, we will be visiting some of these other service providers to see for ourselves the services and facilities offered by them for those with Special and Additional Needs. Information packs were also given out to visiting parents.
