About Us
INSAAN is an independent UK charity and volunteer group set up to offer
free support and advice to individuals with disability, as well as
their parents, carers, teachers and healthcare professionals.
In addition, we have strong links with schools, hospitals and social/disability
services to ensure that the best possible service is being delivered to those
that need it the most.
The services of the charity are open to all, and especially members of the
Ethnic Minority communities within the Greater Reading area.
Our Projects
INSAAN has a number of community focused projects that we are currently working on.
- Education program to educate and inform faith leaders as to the requirements of the Special Needs communities.
- Set up a Parent Support group for families dealing with disability.
- Interact with the local community and hold events on raising awareness in our Area.
- Establish an independent Day Centre for families facing disability.
- Initiate an independent Respite centre which takes account of cultural sensitivities of all citizens in multicultural Reading.
It can be really tough
Living with disabled can be very testing and push us to the edge.
