Coffee Morning and Tour of the Avenue School

A 10-strong INSAAN team arrived at the Avenue School at 8.30am armed with goody bags and information packs.
These were distributed to all the children arriving to school by bus. We were received by headmistress Dame Sue Bourne and teacher Saj Choudhary. The two of them gave us a tour of the school and grounds. We were really impressed with the care and attention shown to children by teaching staff and equally impressed with the facilities at the school.After the tour we met with up to 25 teaching staff over coffee. Lots of views were exchanged and all agreed there was mutual good intent behind INSAAN working with the school, children and parents. INSAAN will be holding regular monthly coffee morning meetings with parents at the Avenue School.
